Welfare Activities: Health care services and provisions of foodstuff

With the aims for convenience of retired civil service personnel from respective departments, Sagaing Region Government rendered health care assistance along with the provision of basic foodstuff. Chief Minister U MyatKyaw along with many other concerned officials attended the ceremony, held at Chindwin Hall of Monywa Township on 21st January.

During the event, nutritional supplements were provided to 760 retirees. As for health care services, the Monywa District Public Health Department provided medical check-up for diabetes, hypertension, arthritis, cardiac and asthma.

On the same day, the Department of Consumer Affairs, Development Affairs Committee and Township Administration Department distributed basic foodstuff such as rice, edible oil and vegetable for the retirees with affordable prices.
