Wednesday Talks: Development of agriculture and livestock sectors

Since measures are undertaking for development of agricultural sector and sufficient food, the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation organizes the Wednesday Talks, aiming to enhance coordination between departments under the Ministry and to achieve harmonization of ground needs and research works.

On 6th of September, 37th Edition of Wednesday Talk was held under title: “Preserving and upgrading the quality breed for development of Livestock sectors”.

Deputy Ministers Dr Aung Gyi and Dr Tin Htut encouraged the event where the experts and researchers from respective fields shared their knowledges including promoting production and more benefit in livestock sector, finding ways for enhancing cooperation among organizations by utilizing modern techniques.

State’s policies for fishery sector, cooperation between local and international organizations, measures undertaken by Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department, importance of preserving Myanmar quality breed and further research works were also discussed.
