Weather Condition: Depression Over North Bay of Bengal

According to the observations at 4:30 a.m. Myanmar Standard Time on Friday, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the Northeast Bay and adjoining Southeast Bangladesh coast and the Northern part of Rakhine coast of Myanmar moved to Northwestwards and intensified into a Depression over the North Bay of Bengal.
It is centered at about 140 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Maungtaw, 170 Nautical miles West-Northwest of Sittwe, 150 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Kolkata, 150 Nautical miles East- Southeast of Digha and 180 Nautical miles East-Southeast of Balasore.
Monsoon is vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
