Waso Robe offering: Kachin State CM attended the ceremony

The 2024 collective Waso Robe offering ceremony organized by the State/District/Township level departments led by the Kachin State Government was held at the indoor stadium in People’s playground of Myitkyina in the morning on 17th July.

First, the congregation led by Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan and wife, Chief Justice of State High Court, State Ministers and wives, State advocate General and State/District/Township level departmental officials observed the five precepts, took the sermon and offered Waso Robe and offertories to the members of Sangha. Then, they shared the merits gained and offered day meal to the Sangha.

In the evening on 16th July, the honoring ceremony for the Departments which awarded the national level second prize in multiple sports among the 15 Regions and states including Nay Pyi Taw Council was held at the State Government office.

At the ceremony, Chief Minister gave words of honor for the departments which brought the honor of Kachin State.

Then, the Chief minister and officials presented cash of honor and certificate of honor to the departments which awarded the excellent performance prizes.
