Waso Robe Offering: Families of MoEA donate Waso robes

Families of the Ministry of Ethnic Affairs organized the 8th Waso Robe offering Ceremony on Thursday morning.

Union Minister for Ethnic Affairs Jeng Phang Naw Taung, Deputy Minister U Zaw Aye Maung and officials attended the ceremony.

At the ceremony, the congregation led by the Union Minister observed the Five Precepts from Aye Mya Shwe Pyi Monastery Sayadaw and members of Sangha recited parittas.

Next, Union Minister, deputy minister and officials offered Waso robes and offertories to members of Sanghas, listened the religious sermons, shared the merits gained.

After the ceremony, Union Minister and officials offered day meal to the Sayadaw and members of Sangha.
