Waso Robe offering ceremony: Yangon Region Government organized the ceremony

The Yangon Region Government’s Waso Robe offering ceremony was held at Mingalar Hall of the Region Government office in the morning on 21st July.

First, the congregation led by Region Chief Minister observed nine precepts administered by Chairman Sayadaw of State Sangha Mahanayaka Committee Presiding Sayadaw of Thanlyin Min Kyaung Pathamabyan Sarthintaik monastery Dr.  Baddanta Candimabhivamsa and took the Paritta Suttas.

Next, the Yangon Region Chief Minister and wife, Chief Justice of Region High Court, Region Ministers and wives offered Waso Robe to the members of Sangha led by Thanlyin Min Kyaung Sayadawgyi, took the sermon delivered by the Sayadawgyi and shared merits gained.

After that, the Chief Minister and officials offered day meal to the members of Sangha, it’s reported.
