Voting in Progress : Systematic and convenient voting process

Voting is in progress in Yangon's 16 townships, with systematic arrangements provided by the polling booth officers. With the use of Myanmar Electronic Voting Machine, the officials ensure the voters to have convenient voting process systematically.

 Seven candidates, six from political parties and an Independent candidate are contesting for Pyithu Hluttaw seats in South Okkalapa Constituency of Yangon Region. Voters casted votes to elect candidate who could serve for better future of the township and the country as a whole. [Soundbite] The First Phase of the election on 28 December 2025, was successfully held in 102 townships across the country, with 52.13 per cent voter turnout.
