Voters head to polls in first round of snap parliamentary elections

The first round of parliamentary elections held on Sunday and the second round will be held on 7th July. More than two million proxies have been registered in France and abroad for the 1st round of legislative elections.

Every day, between 1,000 and 2,000 proxies are registered at the Bordeaux police station. The prefectures are jammed with voters, and some are asking for 24 to 48 hours to deliver the voting papers.
