The vocational trainings are being conducted at the Kabar Training Center in Mingaladon Township that is accredited by the Ministry of Labour.

The training center was opened aiming for the mutual recognition of skills within the ASEAN region and enhancing the skills and abilities of Myanmar workers who will go to abroad for jobs.

Myo Win Nyunt ,Chief Operation Officer ,Kabar Training Center said " We conduct Carpentry and pipe fitting training courses at advance and basic levels practically and theoretically for two months each. The exam is directly tested by BC in Singapore and they check by using CCTV and smart glass system online. After completing the trainings, the employees will be easy to find jobs in abroad."

There were 4000 trainees who completed the courses at the training center since establishing. The training center is jointly opened by Kabar Service Company in Myanmar and TIONG Seng Contractors Company of Singapore.

Trainee said "I attend the training here to work in the pipe fitting, construction, dockyard and welding industries abroad. The training period is 2-month. If we go abroad without completing the training, it will be difficult to search and apply jobs in foreign countries. If we have completion certificate of the training, it will be easy to find jobs."

Kyaw Swa Win Lwin, Instructor ,Kabar Training Center said " The trainees attending here are at zero level and they don’t understand the job processes that they want to join. We train them from the basis to the level that can take the exam. I think the training will support them at cent per cent. "

The government and private parts are also conducting pre-trainings for Myanmar workers on the languages, rules and regulations, literature, traditions and customs and do’s and don’ts of the countries where they will work before they go to abroad.
