Vladimir Putin hands out state awards on Russia's national day

Russian president Vladimir Putin handed out state awards on the country's national day at the Kremlin. According to a Kremlin statement, Putin is handing out Hero of Labour medals and decorations to laureates of state prizes for their achievements in areas such as science, literature and the arts.
