Vladimir Putin attends farewell ceremony for Russia's former defence minister

Russian President Vladimir Putin attended a ceremony in Moscow on Monday to pay respects to former defence minister Sergei Ivanov, who died on June 26 aged 73. The ceremony was held at the Central Clinical Hospital, where Putin laid flowers and met Ivanov’s family. Ivanov previously held several top government posts, including defence minister and Security Council secretary.
