Vladimir Putin arrives in Ashgabat for international peace forum

Russian President Vladimir Putin is in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan from Thursday to Friday, taking part in a forum dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust.

The event was organized to mark the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s declaration of permanent neutrality. The Kremlin said earlier that, during his trip, Putin would hold several bilateral meetings with foreign leaders, highlighting growing diplomatic engagement in the region.
