Visiting Homes for the Aged: Yangon Region CM visited Homes for the Aged

Yangon Region Government Chief Minister U Soe Thein and officials visited and offered donations to the Homes for the Ages located in Kungyangone Township and Twantay Township on April 21.

First, the Chief Minister and party arrived at the Dae Danaw Home for the Aged in Dae Danaw  Model Village, Kungyangon Township. They warmly greeted the 13 residents including 3 elderly men and 10 elderly women and personally handed over donations to each of them. They also visited the dining area and handed over additional donations to the members of the management committee for the Home for the Aged on behalf of the Yangon Region Government.

Next, the Chief Minister and officials proceeded to the Miba Gon Home for the Aged in Shwe Santaw Ward, Twantay Township. There, they warmly interacted with a total of 25 residents including 9 elderly men and 16 elderly women, personally delivering donations to each individual. They also toured the prayer hall and dining area, and further donations were made to the home's management committee on behalf of the Yangon Region Government. In return, the committee members presented a certificate of honor to the Chief Minister.
