




Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations, Dr. Kan Zaw, visited the head office of the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration (DICA) in Yangon to meet and encourage the staff in the morning on July 8.
First, the Union Minister attended a ceremony for the 11th Waso Robe Offering Ceremony organized by the DICA head office, where he donated Waso robes, offerings, and day meals to the members of Sanghas. After the ceremony, the Union Minister held a separate meeting with the Director General and staff members.
During the meeting, the Director General gave a detailed presentation on the current status of the department’s ongoing work, implementation progress in line with the objectives and goals set by the state. The Union Minister then addressed several key points, including short-term and long-term policy priorities and procedures to ensure continuous investment development, promotion of technology use, improvements in investment-related Services and capacity building for staff.
