Visiting BYD factory: MOI Union Minister visited factories in China

Myanmar delegation led by Union Minister for Industry Dr. Charlie Than  who is in Shenzen of Guangdong  Province of the People’s Republic of China to attend the China-ASEAN Forum on Emerging Industry in Shenzen, visited BYD electricity vehicles manufacturing factory.

During the visited, the department of Asia Pacific Sales manager Ms. Gillian Li BIN explained about the history of BYD EV manufacturing, current operation system, status of gaining market share and current status of manufacturing EV electric vehicles, and then, Union Minister queried on what he wanted to know and viewed round the manufacturing of BYD electric vehicles.

In the afternoon, the Union Minister together with Ambassador of Myanmar to the People’s Republic of China visited K Star factory which is manufacturing solar energy equipments. Then, they toured round the factory and the officials explained measures on factory operations, production of solar energy equipment and exports process to foreign markets and discussed related matters.
