Visit in China: Union Minister observes immigration processes at Daxing Int’l Airport

Union Minister for Immigration and Population U Myint Kyaing and delegation who are currently in China visited Hisign Technology Co.Ltd in Beijing on 18th September and Chairman of the Company Mr. Liu Xiaochun explained about their technical products and capacities and technical equipment that can collect biographic and biometric data.

At the meeting hall of the company, company President and officials explained about their company’s history, distribution of biometric technology products to the market, implementation process of e-ID system in cooperation with the government, status of ID card issuing on which the Union Minister raised the queries.

On the 19th September, Union Minister and delegates with Myanmar Ambassador of China and Director-General of Immigration Department of Ministry of Public Security of China visited Daxing International Airport in Beijing.

There, officials explained about activities of security technology for border passports and seeking personal information at the entry/exit counters and immigration process for e-passport holders and the Union Minister asked about further information.

After that, Union Minister and delegates proceeded to Daxing New Gateway of China of Exit-Entry Service Center for Foreigners where they viewed visa issurance for foreigners and extension of PR, passport issuing process for Chinese citizens and giving 24 hours services by using technology.
