Villagers in bare feet search for their loved ones using shovels, axes and other makeshift tools, more than two days after a landslide devastated a village in Papua New Guinea.

With more than 670 people feared dead, according to a UN official on Sunday, aid workers and villagers are navigating perilous conditions in their search for survivors. Hindered by treacherous terrain, damaged roads, and nearby tribal violence, efforts to deliver assistance to the disaster-stricken area have been severely impeded.
