Following heavy snowfall, the Tersun Mountain Pass at an altitude of 2,000 meters has turned into a scene straight out of a postcard. Known as a “nightmare” for drivers due to its winding roads and steep slopes, the pass revealed a breath taking winter landscape after being blanketed in snow.

Located on the Gümüshane–Siran highway, one of the shortest and most critical routes connecting the Eastern Black Sea region with Central and Eastern Anatolia, the Tersun Mountain Pass takes on a completely different character with the arrival of winter. The unique scenery formed by the snowfall was captured from the air, highlighting the dramatic curves and rugged terrain of the route.
