Vietnam's top leader To Lam receives honorary degree from S. Korean University

Secretary General of the Vietnamese Communist Party, To Lam, received an honorary degree from South Korea’s Yonsei University. The ceremony highlighted the strong partnership between Vietnam and South Korea, based on shared values and common perspectives on regional and global issues.

To Lam emphasized the countries’ commitment to a rules-based international order that upholds international law, multilateralism, and ASEAN’s central role in the region. He described South Korea as a key partner for Vietnam, reflecting East Asian traditions of harmony and benevolence. To Lam also affirmed Vietnam’s readiness to serve as a bridge for cooperation and dialogue between the two nations, during the ceremony.
