As of Wednesday, 17 transitional renewable energy projects with a combined capacity of nearly 833 megawatts had begun supplying electricity to the grid, according to the Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN).
These projects have contributed over 165 million kilowatt-hours of electricity, accounting for about 0.4% of the total power supply on a daily average. So far, 72 out of 85 transitional renewable energy projects, totaling about 3,900 megawatts, have submitted documents for price negotiation and power purchase agreements.
