Vietnamese Vice President Xuan meets President Paudel to strengthen bilateral ties

Vietnamese Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuanmet Nepal President Ramchandra Paudel at Shital Niwas on Tuesday, on her three-day official visit to Nepal,  to discuss enhancing bilateral cooperation in trade, tourism, investment, and technology transfer.

President Paudel highlighted Nepal’s focus on economic and social transformation through investment in agriculture, tourism, manufacturing, and hydropower. He welcomed Vietnam’s dynamic economic growth and emphasized cultural ties, noting Buddhism as a shared connection.

Vice President Xuan called for a comprehensive cooperation framework by 2030, aligning with Nepal’s middle-income goal and Vietnam’s 2045 high-income aspiration. She also praised Nepal’s peace efforts and climate action, stressing collaboration between culture, sports and tourism.
