Vietnamese President and Party chief visits ASEAN secretariat

Vietnamese President and Party General Secretary To Lam and a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation visited the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Secretariat in Jakarta, Indonesia, on Monday.

At the meeting, the Vietnamese top leader affirmed Viet Nam’s unwavering commitment to ASEAN’s development over the past 30 years and pledged to continue contributing to the common development of the ASEAN Community. 

The ASEAN Secretary-General underscored Viet Nam’s important contributions to ASEAN and the ASEAN Community and expressed his hope that Viet Nam will continue its leadership role in the bloc.
