Vietnamese PM meets WEF chairman

Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on Wednesday met Professor Klaus Schwab, Founder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum (WEF), on the sidelines of the 15th WEF’s Annual Meeting of the New Champions 2024 in China’s Dalian city.

In the meeting, the Vietnamese leader said its theme “Next Frontiers for Growth” has inspired countries and businesses to pursue innovation and collaborate to build the global economy in the future. The two sides noted significant developments in cooperation between Viet Nam and the WEF over recent years, particularly the signing of the 2023-2026 MoU at the 14th WEF’s Annual Meeting of the New Champions in China’s Tianjin last year.
