Viet Nam-Sweden boost medical research & training cooperation

During his official visit to Sweden, Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh held talks at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm on Friday evening. The Prime Minister praised the Institute’s global academic reputation and highlighted over 55 years of Viet Nam-Sweden cooperation in healthcare.

The Prime Minister also called for expanded collaboration in high-quality human resource training, joint academic forums, biomedical research, and technology transfer for vaccine and pharmaceutical production. He urged stronger partnerships between the institute and major Vietnamese hospitals in clinical research and treatment.
