Viet Nam, Sri Lanka maintain strong and dynamic relations

Vietnamese State President Luong Cuong hosted an official welcome ceremony for Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake on Monday, marking the start of a state visit from May 4 to 6. 

Following the ceremony, the two leaders held bilateral talks to assess recent progress and discuss future collaboration. They are also set to witness the signing of several cooperation agreements and participate in a joint press briefing.

During his stay, President Dissanayake will attend the United Nations Day of Vesak celebration. The visit aims to strengthen political trust and boost cooperation between the two countries across multiple sectors.
