Viet Nam, Russia push comprehensive partnership forward

On Tuesday afternoon, Viet Nam President Lương Cường met with Russian Presidential Aide and Chairman of the Russian Maritime Council, Nikolai Patrushev.

The Vietnamese leader emphasized that the visit by the Presidential Aide was an important occasion, effectively advancing areas of cooperation between the two countries to elevate the Viet Nam–Russia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership to new heights. 

The President proposed that the agencies on both sides engage in frank and detailed exchanges to implement cooperation in each field. The Russian Presidential Aide noted that bilateral cooperation still holds great potential for development.

He affirmed that the visit aimed to implement the directions for cooperation set out by President Putin in his discussions with Party General Secretary Tô Lâm and with State President Lương Cường.
