Viet Nam-Russia address crime prevention collaboration

Viet Nam and Russia agreed to cooperate in countering transnational crime and terrorism, ensuring cyber security, addressing non-traditional security threats, exchanging strategic information, and training officials.

These discussions took place as Party General Secretary Tô Lâm received Sergey Shoigu, Secretary of the Russian Security Council on Tuesday afternoon. The two sides also agreed to boost collaboration in trade and investment, energy, oil and gas, agriculture, machinery and high technology, as well as promote joint research and technology transfer, and prioritise education and training cooperation.
