Viet Nam Prime Minister chaired a Conference in Can Tho City

Viet Nam Prime Minister chaired a conference in Can Tho City on Wednesday aimed at overcoming challenges and accelerating transport infrastructure development in the Mekong Delta region. This marks the sixth conference on the subject, reflecting the government’s focus on strategic transport infrastructure development in this region.

At the conference, Prime Minister noted that the transport infrastructure in the Mekong Delta has significantly improved over the past three years due to the determination of the government and local authorities. Currently, 120 km of expressways are operational, 428 km are under construction and expected to be completed next year, and 215 km are being surveyed for future investment.
