Viet Nam President Luong Cuong meets world leaders during UNGA week

During talks with Austrian Chancellor Christian Stocker, Viet Nam President Luong Cuong stressed that economy, trade and investment are key pillars in bilateral relations. He called on Austria to boost investment in renewable energy, infrastructure, and green transition in Viet Nam, and urged Austria’s parliament to ratify the EU–Viet Nam Investment Protection Agreement while supporting efforts to lift the EU’s “yellow card” warning on Vietnamese seafood.

Chancellor Stocker agreed to further strengthen exchanges at all levels, creating more opportunities for businesses and localities of both countries.
