Viet Nam PM sends message to UNCTAD16

The 16th Ministerial Conference of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development has opened in Geneva, Switzerland. Viet Nam Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh was one of three senior leaders invited to deliver a recorded address at the opening session.

In his message, the Prime Minister noted that the world is at a pivotal moment that requires renewed thinking and action, with people at the center of all development efforts. He stressed that science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation should form the foundation for progress, while environmental protection and social welfare drive sustainable growth. He also called for greater global solidarity and multilateral cooperation to build a fair, transparent, and rules-based world order.
