Viet Nam, Lao Cai Province lifts state of emergency

On 10th October, the People's Committee of Lao Cai province has announced the end of the emergency situation regarding natural disasters in the province.

On September 9, the People’s Committee issued a decision declaring a state of emergency due to natural disasters in Lao Cai province, Hanoi.

Storm Yagi’s impact on Lao Cai province has been severe, resulting in 239 casualties including deaths, missing persons, and injuries. Over 11,200 houses were flooded or swept away, with economic damages estimated at approximately 282 million USD.
