Viet Nam’s new gaming regulations, outlined in Decree 147, limit players under 18 to a maximum of 180 minutes of gaming per day. The decree specifies that minors can play no more than 60 minutes on any single game, with a total cap of 180 minutes across all games. To enforce these limits, game developers must implement technical systems that restrict playtime and display warnings on players’ devices every 30 minutes.

These regulations are designed to protect young players from the negative effects of excessive gaming while improving market oversight. The measures are part of a broader effort to foster a safe and healthy gaming environment in Viet Nam, as well as promote the sustainable growth of the country’s gaming industry.
