Viet Nam, Finland sign cooperation agreement on labour migration

Vietnamese Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs Dao Ngoc Dung and visiting Minister for Employment from the Finnish Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment Arto Satonen signed a Memorandum of Understanding on labour migration cooperation as part of their talks in Hanoi on January 13.  

In the next five years, more Vietnamese workers will be able to work in Finland. The agreement is valid from 2025 to 2030. Since the end of 2023, the Ministry of Labour, Invalids, and Social Affairs has approved the registration of three Vietnamese enterprises with contracts to send 134 workers to Finland.
