Viet Nam and China hold 8thBorder Defense Friendship Exchange

The 8th Viet Nam-China Border Defense Friendship Exchange took place on Thursday in Lao Cai Province of Viet Nam.

This event aims to contribute to strengthening friendship and attachment between people and the Defense Ministries of the two countries. The two sides signed a memorandum of understanding, establishing a hotline between the navy of the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense and the Chinese People’s Liberation Army.

The ministers of the two countries discussed future cooperation strategies, which include continuing to promote delegation exchanges, enhancing the defense strategic dialogue mechanism, and fostering cooperation in areas such as training, management, and border protection. It’s reported that, the 8th Viet Nam-China border defense friendship exchange program will continue in Yunnan province, China on April 12th.
