Viet Nam’s NA Standing Committee convenes 36th meeting

Vietnamese National Assembly Standing Committee convened for its 36th session on Monday in Hanoi. The session will last for 4 days to discuss 12 important issues. And, three draft laws will be tabled for consideration for the first time during the meeting.

These are the draft revised Electricity Law, the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations, and the Law on Officers of the Vietnam People’s Army. During the meeting, the Committee Chairman also stressed the need for careful review due to the large number of draft laws submitted to the National Assembly at the 8th and 9th sessions.
