In April, export turnover reached USD 450 million, with the total value for the first four months of 2025 at USD 1.6 billion, a nearly 14% decline compared to the same period last year. This decline marks the end of two years of continuous growth. According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, China remains the dominant export destination, accounting for 45% of total export value.

The United States and South Korea are the second and third largest markets, with shares of 9.6% and 6.2%, respectively. Among Vietnam’s top 15 export markets, Hong Kong showed the strongest performance, with exports more than doubling, while China saw the steepest decline at over 30%
