Viet Nam’s first BAP certification awarded to rice-shrimp specialized area

The Global Aquaculture Alliance awarded the Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) certification  toViet Nam for the first time. According to the People’s Committee of ThoiBinh District, a rice-shrimp specialized area in Ca Mau received  the BAP certification which opens up more export opportunities for Ca Mau shrimp and Vietnamese shrimp in general, especially to the world’s most demanding markets.

The Global Aquaculture Alliance, with over 1,100 members across 70 countries, has become the leading organization representing the global aquaculture industry.
