Victory Flag: MOE Union Minister encouraged the Ministry’s Sports Team

A victory flag handover ceremony for representative sport team of the Ministry of Energy took place at Yadana Hall of the Ministry on Friday with the attendance of Union Minister U Ko Ko Lwin.

Speaking on the occasion, the Union Minister said that promotion of country’s sport sector could enhance the prestige of the country and could nurture human resource development.

During the 5th National Sports Festival, 71 athletes from the ministry will participate in 4 sport events such as Men’s football tournament, men’s volleyball, men’s futsal tournament and men’s Sepak Takraw event.The athletes are urged to try hard with sportsmanship spirits and raise the prestige of the ministry.

Then, the Union Minister handed over the victory flag to the team leader, provided the nutritious foods and medical supplies, cordially greeted the athletes and made encouragement.
