







Across China, vibrant celebrations are underway to welcome the 2025 Spring Festival, which falls on January 29, featuring dazzling light and lantern shows along with captivating traditional folk performances that create a festive and joyous atmosphere.
Transforming Beijing into a vibrant spectacle, nearly 3,000 landscape lighting facilities have been illuminated for the festival, alongside dazzling light shows projected onto 10 landmark buildings. More than 260,000 lanterns and lighting decorations adorn the city, enhancing its lively and festive charm.
A large-scale lantern festival opened on Wednesday evening in Xi’an, the capital of Northwest China’s Shaanxi Province, attracting crowds of tourists and locals. Colorful lanterns adorn Daming Palace National Heritage Park, Xi’an’s ancient city wall the largest and most well-preserved in China and the city’s scenic attraction, Tang Paradise.
