






On Friday morning, Yangon’s People’s Square comes alive with festive visitors celebrating the vibrant final day of the three-day Thadingyut Market Fair and Music Show.
The market fair featured 48 MSME shops, 26 from the Small-Scale Industries Department, 15 from the Cooperatives Department and 15 from the Yangon Region Investment Committee, along with various food stalls and shops.
Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein and the Region Ministers encouraged both buyers and vendors in their sales and purchases. They also viewed the preparation for a charity feast and instructed for cleanliness and order in the cooking process.
Throughout the festival, visitors delighted in a charity feast and refreshing cold drinks served three times a day. On the final day, renowned singers took the stage, along with DJs starting at 9:00 a.m in the morning.
The fair runs from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, featuring a music show from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM. In the evening, the public can revel in a festive atmosphere, enjoying fireworks and hot air balloon release. To enhance the experience, ferries were available to ensure smooth transportation for all visitors.
