Vibrant Celebration: Traditional festival with joyous activities

Closing ceremony of the Thingyan Pandal of the Families of Commander-in-Chief Office (Army, Navy, Air) took place in the afternoon of Thingyan Atat Day on Tuesday.
The ceremony was attended by Chief of General Staff (Army, Navy, Air) General MaungMaung Aye, Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Vice Admiral Zwe Win Myint, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung, Union Level personnel, senior military officers and their wives, Tatmadawmen and their families as well as the Yein dance troupes. They enjoyed the entertainment programs by the artists, vocalists and Yein dance troupes and presented cash rewards to the participants.
The closing ceremony then followed, with the song “Man TaungYeik Kho”, sprinkling water to the Yein dance troupes. On the Atat Day of Myanmar traditional Thingyan Festival, Thingyan pandals in Nay Pyi Taw council area were thronged with the revelers, enjoying the water festival.
