Vesting victorious flag: Taninthayi Region CM vested victorious flag

The ceremony of vesting the victorious flag to the Taninthayi Region U-21 Football Team which will compete in the 2024 Inter-Regions and States U-21 Football Tournament was held at the Region Government office in Dawei Township at 9:30 AM on June 17.

At the ceremony, Taninthayi Region Chief Minister U Myat Ko gave words of encouragement to athletes and urged to compete in the tournament with the courage, perseverance, skill, strong-willed, unity, courtesy and obedience.

Next, the Director of Region Sports and Physical Education Department clarified the preparations to compete in the tournament and then, the Chief Minister vested the victorious flag to the Region U-21 Football Team and provided 1.15 million Kyats of cash assistance, it’s reported.
