Venezuela Vice President says Venezuela ready to defend the country

The Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, led a meeting of the National Defense Council on Saturday.

Vice President Rodríguez was emphatic in pointing out that the country’s institutions remain firm under the mandate of the Head of State, Nicolás Maduro. The high-ranking official announced the immediate activation of the defense protocols signed by the national leader. In her statements, she highlighted Venezuela’s willingness to maintain diplomatic channels, provided there is recognition of national laws.
