Vatican celebrates Easter's Holy Chrism Mass

The Vatican celebrates the Chrism Mass, a traditional Holy Week ceremony. During this period, the Catholic Church commemorates the Passion of Christ, his death and resurrection.

The celebration is presided over by the Pope’s Delegate, Cardinal Domenico Calcagno, President Emeritus of the Administration of the Patrimony of the Apostolic See.
