Value-Added Product Training: Chief Minister attends opening in Bago Region

The opening ceremony of value-added product training was held on Friday at Yan Nyein Aye hall of the No. 77 Infantry Division in Bago Region with the attendance of Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win.

At the ceremony, the Chief Minister said that the government provides assistance for development of rural region, improvement of socioeconomic life and creation of more job opportunities.

He also added that implementations are underway to open vocational training courses and the government continuously supports for those running their own businesses. To produce safe products for consumers, the working processes are underway for laboratory tests and issuance of business ID card.

After the ceremony, Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win and party viewed around the training equipment. The Value-added Product Training Course is being opened starting from 5th to 14th May with 40 trainees.

During the training period, trainers will conduct how to produce value-added products from basic consumer goods including tomato, mango, lime, papaya and pineapple to making tomato sauce, jelly and popcorn, it’s learnt.
