COVID-19 vaccines are being distributed to Nay Pyi Taw, regions and states for the COVID-19 disease prevention and control.

300,000 Sinovac vaccines were transported to Pathein of Ayeyawaddy Region while 300,000 Sinovac vaccines to Yangon Region, 25,600 Sinopharm vaccines to Mandalay, 12,460 Sinopharm vaccines to Monywa of Sagaing Region, 16,000 Sinopharm vaccines to Nay Pyi Taw Council Area, 20,000 Sinopharm vaccines to Taunggyi of Shan State, 1440 Sinopharm vaccines and 15,000 Sinovac vaccines to Hpa-An of Kayin State, 16,000 Sinopharm vaccines to Mawlamyaing of Mon State, 150,000 Sinovac vaccines to Bago Region and 25,000 Sinovac vaccines to Magway Region.

The Ministry of Health purchased millions of COVID-19 vaccines and also accepted millions donated by friendly countries.
