The highly-anticipated armaments displayed by the four formations of the strategic strike group included cruise missiles, hypersonic missiles, and two nuclear missiles formations.
In the cruise missiles formation, China unveiled its ChangJian-20A, YingJi-18C, and ChangJian-1000 cruise missiles, showcasing its long-range precise strike and multi-domain deterrence capabilities. This was the first time that cruise missiles of the Navy, Air Force and Rocket Force units of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) had come together in a joint formation on parade.
