Uzbekistan hosts international conference on road transport

Uzbekistan is one of the countries in Central Asia located far from sea ports. The development of transport and logistics is crucial for the economic development of the country and the establishment of relations with global markets.

Such notable issues were discussed in the international conference "International Road Transport: Driving Resilience and Prosperity" that took place in Uzbekistan. The first day of the international conference was held in the Palace of International Forums "Uzbekistan" in Tashkent city.

Representatives of 11 international organizations and 93 foreign delegations from 29 countries participated in the event organized by the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the International Road Transport Union, and the International Transport Association of Uzbekistan. As stated, the issues related to rapid technological advances, geopolitical uncertainty, and climate crises require a review of road transport routes in all world regions.
