Utah sheriff gives details on arrest of suspect in Charlie Kirk’s killing

Washington County Sheriff said a tip from a retired detective and personal friend led to the arrest of the suspect in the killing of Charlie Kirk.

Nate Brooksby, Washington County Sheriff said “At exactly 8:02 on the 11th, I received a call from a friend of mine who happens to be a retired detective that worked for me for many years... He said, 'Hey, I know who I know who Charlie Kirk shotter is. I know the family through religious association, and he's in Washington County now, and we're working on trying to get him to come in voluntarily."

Authorities have shared their most detailed account yet of the investigation set off by the killing of American conservative activist Charlie Kirk, which concluded with a suspect surrendering to police.
