Use of Biogas : Rural people use in substitution of fire woods

Speaking of the use of electricity, Biogas from the waste of cow is being used at Than Pho YwarThit Village in Magway Region. There, a Biogas Digester was constructed with the regional development fund of 3 million Kyats.

Using Biogas can reduce the use of electricity. Also, biogas can be used in substitution of fire woods for cooking in places where people do not have electricity access. At the same time, it can reduce deforestation.
